Sacramento River Portal
Reptiles
The Sacramento River is home to over 22 species of reptiles. One of them, the Giant garter snake is listed as state and federally threatened. Habitat and other environmental conditions will be important to their recovery and delisting. The purpose of this River Ecology web page is to provide links to resources that will help advance reptile restoration goals. Please consider helping us gather and organize the information that will make the Reptile sub-folders more useful for all stakeholders
