Geographic
Information System (GIS) data can provide stakeholders and researchers with
valuable tools for improving understanding of complex ecological systems
and geographical areas. GIS data is often paid for with public funds but
finding these data sets and projects can be difficult. The Sacramento River
Portal hopes that stakeholders will help it build this folder so that it
becomes a portal into all the Sacramento River related GIS databases. If
