Sacramento River Portal
Birds
The Sacramento River is home to over 218 species of birds. Over 8 of these are listed as state or federally threatened or endangered. Habitat and other environmental conditions will be important to their recovery and delisting. The purpose of this River Ecology web page is to provide links to resources that will help advance bird restoration goals. Please consider helping us gather and organize the information that will make the Bird sub-folders more useful for all stakeholders.
