The Sacramento River is home to over 9 species of amphibians. One of them, the Red legged frog is listed as federally threatened. There are four amphibians designates as state or federal species of concern. Habitat and other environmental conditions will be important to their recovery and delisting. The purpose of this River Ecology web page is to provide links to resources that will help advance amphibian restoration goals.
